there phones with huge splashes of water. Most devices can handle splashes, but not being submerged.
For 2 devices that are not IP67/68 rated against water and dust, they both did very well.
While at the Disney Parks this summer, I had my S6 Edge 128GB in my pocket and I got on several rides that had water where my shorts were soaked. I forgot I had the phone in my pocket. My wife left her Note 4 in the car most of the time.
As wet as it got, it didn’t get damaged and after it dried the speakers which sound bad at first, cleared up. I was very surprised.
I thing the new unibody designs are so tight, water can only get in through the holes.
I was so afraid to charge my device so I let it completely dry overnight my leaving it under a light and I powered it off. I turned it on the very next day. I figured the worse that could happen It explodes and I have to pay $200 to get it replaced. Was still in perfect condition when it sold. Both Apple and Samsung have stepped it up in making durable phones on some level.
Will it bend? Apple iPhone 6s/Plus drop, water and assorted torture tests
