Unfortunately, Pepsi representatives did not mention any details about the company’s first incursion in the smartphone market aside from the fact that Pepsi will be licensing its brand to a smartphone maker and that the phone will only be available in China.
While Pepsi did not divulge any details about its first phone, a report recently claimed that the handset will land as the Pepsi P1 and will be a mid-range Android 5.1 Lollipop phablet. The rumored specs include a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels, a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 chipset paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage space, a 13MP primary camera, a 5MP secondary shooter, and a 3000mAh battery.
