Motorola will give DROID Turbo 2 owners a four-year warranty that will cover a cracked or shattered display. The consumer-replaceable lens isn’t covered as part of the warranty. The Motorola DROID MAXX 2, which should be unveiled on Tuesday along with the DROID Turbo 2, also will have some protection from a cracked and shattered display. Owners of that phone will get one free certified screen replacement for two years from the date of purchase.
The Motorola DROID Turbo 2 will also be the fastest charging smartphone as it will provide users with 13 hours of power after a 15-minute charge. And Motorola will boast that the DROID Turbo 2 and the DROID MAXX 2 will both provide users with up to 48 hours of battery life.
Motorola’s event is taking place in New York City on Tuesday. If you are the typical klutz who is always dropping his/her phone and breaking the screen, you are going to want to hear more about the DROID Turbo 2. Stay tuned.
