The difference between the Gear S2 Classic and the regular Gear S2 (which costs $299) is mainly related to the devices’ design. However, the Gear S2 Classic has an advantage over the regular Gear S2: it can be used with traditional watch bands. More exactly, you can attach any band to it, as long as it’s a 20 mm one.
As you can see in the promo video that’s embedded below, it’s quite easy to change watch bands on the Gear S2 Classic (thus changing its aspect), even if you want to use a band from an analog watch.
