Depends on what their US pricing is going to be. They already reduced the prices in UK even before it’s release, maybe due to public outrage? They also don’t have strong support from the US carriers, T-Mobile already said they won’t carry the Z5, and Verizon hasn’t even released the Z4v yet so doubtful they’ll release the Z5 anytime soon or if at all. I don’t think Sony is any position to be pricing these phones at the top tiers of the smartphone economy.
Z5c went from £549 ($840) down to £429 ($655).
Z5 went from £599 ($915) down to £549 ($840).
Z5 Premium went from £699 ($1,070) down to £629 ($960).Who knows if these are the same prices they’ll be in the US though. Even with the lower prices, I think they’re a bit much for Sony to be asking for if they want this line to be a breakthrough.
Does Sony have you sold on the new Xperia Z5 lineup?
