The Nexus 5X is expected to come with a 5.2-inch, 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution screen. The Snapdragon 808 SoC drives the handset with a hexa-core 1.8GHz CPU, and the Adreno 418 GPU. The 13MP rear-facing camera comes with OIS, and 3GB of RAM is inside. Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be pre-installed.
The Huawei Nexus 6 is believed to carry a 5.5-inch or 5.7-inch screen with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Snapdragon 810 SoC is under the hood, with an octa-core 2.0GHz CPU and the Adreno 430 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 64GB of internal storage. A 3500mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Android 6.0 is pre-installed.
For LG, this will be its third stock Android Nexus phone, having already produced the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5. For Huawei, this is the manufacturer’s first shot at rolling a Nexus handset off of the assembly line. As for the October 13th pre-order date, we suggest taking it with a grain of salt. While pre-orders for the Nexus 6 started two weeks following the introduction of the phone, that doesn’t necessarily mean that we will see this timeline repeat for the new Nexus models.
