In Austria, the 38mm Apple Watch Sport model will start at the equivalent of $451 USD, with the 42mm model priced at the equivalent of $508 USD. Including VAT tax, the price of the same two Apple Watch Sport models in Ireland is the equivalent of $485 USD and $542 USD, respectively. The 38mm Apple Watch Sport is priced in Denmark at the equivalent of $376 USD. The 42mm version will cost you the equivalent of $424 USD. It also turns out that Apple will soon be offering the timepiece through its authorized resellers in the U.K., Germany and Australia.
Meanwhile, as we told you on Wednesday, Apple has announced a delay in the rollout of WatchOS 2. The company originally said during its September 9th event that the new OS build for Apple Watch would start getting pushed out on September 16th. A bug discovered in testing has taken longer to eradicate than hoped. An Apple spokeswoman said that WatchOS 2 will be released “shortly.”
