While HTC and Motorola already revealed lists of devices that will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow (see here and here), we’re still waiting for official confirmations from other manufacturers. Thankfully, today T-Mobile went ahead and posted a list of phones and tablets that will, at some point, be updated to Google’s newest version of Android. Check out the list below, in alphabetical order:
- HTC One M8
- HTC One M9
- LG G3
- LG G4
- LG G Stylo
- Google Nexus 5
- Google Nexus 6
- Google Nexus 7
- Google Nexus 9
- Samsung Galaxy Note 4
- Samsung Galaxy Note5
- Samsung Galaxy Note Edge
- Samsung Galaxy S5
- Samsung Galaxy S6
- Samsung Galaxy S6 edge
- Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+
- Samsung Galaxy Tab S2
T-Mobile mentions that there are three key stages for the update: Manufacturer Development, T-Mobile Testing, and Completed. At the moment, only Nexus devices are in the Completed stage, while all other devices are still in the Manufacturer Development stage. You can click on any device to check its status over at T-Mobile’s website (source link included below).
What do you think about the list above? Are there other devices that you’d wish to see included on it?
