With 48 hours left until the Apple iPhone 6s and the Apple iPhone 6s Plus are unveiled, a leaked image confirms where the buttons will be placed on the iPhone 6s. With the power button on the right side of the device, and volume controls down the left side, there are no changes being made to this year’s model concerning the placement of external controls.

Also part of this leak are images showing the SIM removal tool that will come in the box of an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus that does not come with a pre-installed SIM card. A paperclip is a good substitute if your iPhone does not come with the tool.

By now, the changes coming to the new iPhone models should be as familiar as the back of your hand. Force Touch, possibly called 3D Touch with three tiers of taps, will be the killer new feature for the new handsets. Both will be powered by the new A9 chipset, made using either a 14nm or 16nm process for improved performance and battery life. Series 7000 aluminum, used on the Apple Watch and in aerospace construction, will be employed to prevent a repeat of #bendgate, and the amount of RAM in both units will double to 2GB. Both rear cameras are expected to get a bump to 12MP from the current 8MP, and the front-facing camera will now use a 5MP sensor. Both models will also be made available in Rose Gold.
