In general, I absolutely agree that from what we know now (could change after the announcement), the Surface Pro 3 is the better product. That being said, the Achilles heel of the Surface Pro 3 is battery life. If an iPad Pro could give brutally amazing battery life, and some quality office features, I could definitely see it working as a viable desktop alternative in more than a few companies.
