As you may know, rose gold is a novelty in the world of iPhones, and its addition marks the first time when a metal-made Apple handset comes in more than three color variants.
Not long after Apple announced its new iPhones, Huawei had something to say about how a rose gold smartphone should be designed. More exactly, the company took to Twitter to remind us that its Mate S (officially unveiled earlier this month) comes in “rose gold from head to toe” – clearly a reference to the fact that the rose gold iPhones aren’t completely covered in the new color: their front panels are white.
Of course, some users may prefer Apple’s approach, but Huawei does have a point here: on a just how rose gold a smartphone is scale, the Mate S sits above the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. And while that may not matter much, it’s fun to see Huawei trying to troll Apple (again).
Colors aside, if you want to find out more about Huawei’s newest handset, you should check out our Mate S hands-on.
