The DROID Turbo 2 will also come with the industry’s first shatterproof display. A new feature called ShatterShield provides three-layers of protection, and a four-year warranty is included just in case the display, well, shatters. Motorola has seen fit to add a microSD slot (2TB capacity) to the phone, and there is a front-facing flash for low-light selfies. Consumers will also be able to customize the DROID Turbo through the Moto Maker site.
The Motorola DROID MAXX 2 is rumored to come with a free one-time certified screen replacement, available to owners of the device who crack or shatter the display within the first two-years of the phone’s purchase. This is the warranty that came with the display on the OG Motorola DROID Turbo.
If either phone is on your radar screen, keep checking in this weekend for more leaks, rumors and news about the Motorola DROID Turbo 2 and the Motorola DROID MAXX 2.
