OnePlus today took to Twitter and Facebook to inform us that something “powerfully beautiful” is coming. Just yesterday, we saw several photos that seem to be showing the OnePlus X – the handset has a clean design, and appears to be built around a metal frame, so we wouldn’t blame OnePlus for calling it “beautiful.”
The OnePlus X is expected to sport a 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels, being a pretty compact device (at least compared to the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2). The smartphone should further feature LTE connectivity, a 13 MP rear camera, an 8 MP front-facing camera, 3 GB of RAM, and a 2450 mAh battery. As for the processor inside the OnePlus X, this could be either an octa-core MediaTek MT6795, or an older quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (or perhaps there will be two variants of the new handset, we can’t know for sure).
Not long ago, we also heard about a OnePlus Mini – but this might actually be the OnePlus X. Hopefully, OnePlus will soon shed light on all this.
