Unfortunately, since there’s no official Xperia Z5 Compact variant for the US, the ones that can be ordered via Amazon are international models, and come without warranty. If that doesn’t scare you off, you can go ahead and buy the Z5 Compact in any of these color versions: black, yellow, coral red, and white. Depending on the color you’re choosing, an unlocked Xperia Z5 Compact costs between $530 and $540 at Amazon. The handset is compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile, but not with CDMA carriers like Verizon and Sprint.
As its name suggests, the Xperia Z5 Compact is a pretty small handset, thanks to the fact that it sports a 4.6-inch display (with 720 x 1280 pixels). Like its bigger brothers – the 5.2-inch Xperia Z5 and the 5.5-inch Xperia Z5 Premium – the Z5 Compact is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, and is dust- and water-resistant. The smartphone further features a 23 MP rear camera with phase detection auto focus, a 5 MP front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, microSD card support, and a 2700 mAh battery.
