LeTV Max 2 to feature smaller 5.7-inch screen? LeTV 1S is run through AnTuTu benchmark test

Yesterday, we told you about some rumored specs related to the LeTV Max 2, the successor to the LeTV Max. The original is a 6.33-inch phablet with a bezel-less screen, and features a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution. Powered by the Snapdragon 810, the OG model carries 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, a 20.7MP rear camera and a 3400mAh battery.

The first report about the sequel indicated that it will have the Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood. This means we can expect it to carry a quad-core CPU using Qualcomm’s proprietary Kryo cores, and the Adreno 530 GPU. The chipset has scored pretty well on benchmark sites, facing its chief competition from the MediaTek 6797 Helio X20 chipset, featuring a deca-core CPU.

But we digress. Besides the Snapdragon 820 SoC, the LeTV Max 2 will be equipped with a more manageable 5.7-inch screen. It also will give owners the ability to quickly charge their battery with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. We should see the unit released in Q1 2016.

Speaking about LeTV, the LeTV 1S has been run through the AnTuTu benchmark site. While not a high-end model, the device still offers solid specs. To start with, the 5.5-inch screen is equipped with a 1080 x 1920 FHD resolution. Driving the handset is the Helio X10 chipset from MediaTek, most likely the MT6795. This contains an octa-core GPU and the PowerVR Rogue G6200 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB of native storage. The rear-facing camera weighs in at 13MP, while a 5MP front-facing snapper is on board. Android 5.0.2 is pre-installed.

The LeTV 1S managed to score a decent 45,623 on AnTuTu. Pricing and availability are unknown for the moment.

Thanks for the tip!
