As this month began, we told you that NextBit had finally made its new smartphone official. The NextBit Robin features 32GB of internal storage, and 100GB of cloud storage which is integrated into Android. Apps that you don’t use are stored in the cloud, and can be quickly restored onto your phone when needed. The handset offers a unique design.

Just the other day, we told you that NextBit is planning on offering a CDMA model of the Robin for Verizon and Sprint customers. Now, it turns out that the Verizon version of the handset can be reserved via Kickstarter starting tomorrow. The first 300 units will cost $299 with the remaining units priced at $349. Outside of making sure that the phone carries the proper bands, there is nothing different specs-wise between the GSM and CDMA models.

That means that the Verizon version of the NextBit Robin is equipped with a 5.2-inch display, carrying a 1080 x 1920 resolution and a 324ppi pixel density. The Snapdragon 808 chipset is powering the handset, which includes a hexa-core CPU and the Adreno 418 GPU. 3GB of RAM is inside. On back is a 13MP camera with phase detection Auto Focus and support for RAW. The 5MP front-facing shooter snaps selfies and handles video chats. A fingerprint scanner is embedded into the power button on the right side of the phone. The color choices are Midnight and Mint, and the device should ship in the first quarter of 2016.

The unit supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. And yes Virginia, those are front-facing stereo speakers. Actually, that is not much of a surprise considering that Scott Croyle, the man who helped design the HTC One series before he left HTC (hopefully he cashed in his stock when he left), is NextBit’s head of design.
