Now that HTC has unveiled a pair of high-end phones, does anyone still care about the HTC One A9? Specs allegedly belonging to the device were leaked earlier today after the phone supposedly was run through the AnTuTu benchmark test. Now, we have a series of photos that show off the design of this mid-range handset.
When HTC CEO Cher Wang said last June that the company would be launching a “Hero” phone in October, the assumption was that the HTC One A9, which was first dubbed the “Aero,” would be a high-end model that would make up for the poorly received HTC One M9. It was a tweet from tipster Evan Blass a couple of weeks ago that spilled the beans about the handset.
The HTC One A9 is said to employ 2.5D glass with rounded edges and the device does offer a metal build. We expect to see the handset unveiled during a media event in October that will be held in multiple cities. The company will reportedly be shelling out big bucks to promote the phone.
